T-Shirt Headband

I wore an orange one of these today to school and my friend commented "You're so artistic!" I didn't think I was until she said that...well! This is a head band I made out of old t-shirts. You cut 3 one-inch strips out of a t-shirt, tie the ends to a hair tie, braid until it'll fit around your head, and tie the other end to the hair tie. Ta-da! A super easy way to reuse your t-shirts instead of just throwing them out. Thanks!

Duct Tape Flower #2

This is a flower I made out of duct tape! You'll need duct tape (any kind, any color), a button, hot glue, cardboard, and scissors. First, you cut a pedal stencil out of cardboard, then cut a circle (I made mine with about a 2'' diameter) out of the cardboard. Next, cut out two long pieces of duct tape that are the same size, and carefully lay the sticky sides together as even as you can, that way you can cut it. Next, cut out as many pedals you want out of the duct tape using the stencil. Hot glue the pedals to the cardboard circle, trying to get the pedals to be as close to the center as possible. You might have to overlap some of the pedals, which is good since I have yet to see a real flower that doesn't have overlapping pedals..... Finally, hot glue the button to the center to cover up any messy centers you have. There you go! Now you have a beautiful duct tape flower that you can make into a headband, a pin, or anything really! Thanks!

Button Bracelet

This is a bracelet I made out of buttons! Well.....obviously......All you do is get the typical necklace clasps, however many strings you want, and a lot of buttons. You string them on, either putting one string through one button, or multiple strings through one button. Continue doing this until it is long enough to fit around your wrist, then attach the clasps to the ends of the strings. And Vwa La! You have a button bracelet! Thanks!

Starburst Wrapper Bracelet

This is a bracelet that I made out of starburst wrappers. I used about 30 starbursts, and I nearly "burst" from all of the starbursts I ate......
....hehehe.....that was "pun-ny" oh there goes another one! ...hehehe.... So yeah! This is pretty easy to make, and I learned it from the website below. Thanks!

Splatter Art

This is one of my Jackson-Pollock-inspired pieces. I made this at school when we were doing a unit on him. Conviently, my 6th grade play was about Jackson Pollock and I was his evil mother. And like the play, this art was fun to do. Though it was a little messy, it turned out great! I highly suggest making one of these!

Duct Tape Flowers

These are Duct Tape flowers that I learned how to do from YouTube. They're really easy to make, and each one took me about a half hour to make. I've made 5, but I sold one and someone at my bus stop stole another (grrrr....)So yeah! I'll put the link to the video below and it will (hopefully) work!

Paper Towel Flowers

The posts I have aren't necessarily in the order of the time I made the art, so here's another piece I made. These are paper towel roses. They're quite easy to make, they just take a while. I took a spray paint machine and sprayed a little color on the top, but if you were to make these I don't suggest doing that. Thanks!

Melted Crayon Art

Since this is my first time blogging, bear with me. So I started this blog so that people I know (or people I don't) could have an easy time accessing my artwork. This piece of art was my pride and joy, and then I sold it.
To make it, get these materials:

A canvas (any size)
A box of Crayola Crayons
A Hair Dryer
A Hot Glue Gun

Soak the crayons in water to get the labels off, line them up in rainbow order, hot glue them to the top of the canvas, turn on the hair dryer and point it down so the wax runs down, and Ta-da! In about 30 min you'll have a masterpiece! Hope you liked my very first post!
